About Us

Since 1993, I.D.ology has taken on the challenge of delivering reliable and efficient RFID solutions for the animal agriculture industry. Following the publication of the ISO 11784–11785 standards by ICAR for low-frequency tags and readers, I.D.ology aligned its technology to the 134.2 kHz frequency. This ensures full compatibility—our readers can detect all compliant tags, and our tags can be read by all compatible readers.

I.D.ology has collaborated with herd management software providers to ensure seamless integration between RFID tags, implants, and existing software systems.

Together with AniCare, I.D.ology also supplies RFID tags and readers for the companion animal sector, supporting shelters and veterinary professionals.

More recently, I.D.ology has explored the use of cost-effective UHF RFID tags in animal agriculture, similar to those used in retail. The company has launched several research and development initiatives to evaluate these high-speed, long-range technologies in agricultural environments.
