TECFIL

TECFIL is a company founded in 1982.

In 2009, TECFIL acquired new facilities, a covered production unit of 15,000 m² located in the centre of Portugal, more precisely in Marinha Grande (approximately 100 km from Lisbon).

TECFIL produces twines and ropes using raw materials from the polypropylene and polyethylene families, employing the most advanced technology in the sector. Our main objective is the quality of our products and the total satisfaction of our customers, focusing on performance and service.

TECFIL stands out for its flexibility and the responsiveness of its production and logistics departments, as demonstrated by its presence in export markets such as the United States, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, among others.

1997 Construction of the first facilities with 1 500m2
1999 Beginning of exportation
2006 Beginning of the production of braided twine

2009 Acquisition of a new industrial unit, with a covered area of ​​15 000 m2, designed specifically for our activity.

2010 Beginning of Tecsteel rope production

2011 Certification of Quality Management System ISO 9001

2014 Start of Megafix brand/technology development
Passage to Limited Liability Company

2016 Investment in the production capacity in order to respond to the increase of demand of the technical range, continuing this investment nowadays, always having as aim the reinforcement of the level of quality

2018 Development of new products

Nowadays Exportation of about 80% of our production to more than 30 countries on 5 continents.
