If one man has truly left his mark on the equine industry, it is Jacques Maupiler. A man of strong character, instantly recognisable by his legendary moustache, Jacques has always been, above all, a passionate horseman.

For more than 30 years, TECHNIBELT, a Normandy-based manufacturer, has been meeting the needs of professionals and private owners alike by designing bespoke stables and manufacturing safe, high-quality equestrian equipment.

In the 1990s, Jacques Maupiler worked in the rubber industry, specialising in conveyor belts. Thanks to his expertise, he was called to the mare breeding centre at Haras du Pin to install rubber supplied by one of his clients. Once the project was completed, he had the idea of covering breeding phantom mounts with rubber—a material far more flexible and durable than leather or PVC—for the breeding stations of the French National Studs.

Soon afterwards, one breeder asked him to build a stable door, another requested additional equipment, and demand continued to grow. Founded in 1993, TECHNIBELT soon found its true vocation: designing and manufacturing bespoke stable equipment with one clear mission—to enhance the welfare and safety of horses.

Jacques Maupiler also understood very early on that the key to success was simple: listen to customers and provide the right solution for every challenge. His motto was, *Every challenge has its solution.* Combined with his passion for horses, it became an endless source of inspiration and innovation.

In 2021, Jacques handed over the reins of the company to his two sons so that he could pursue another lifelong dream: creating an equestrian trail riding centre.

Today, at the helm of TECHNIBELT, César Maupiler and Clovis Maupiler are proud to continue this remarkable family adventure. They are committed to preserving the company's family spirit and core values while providing every client with the highest level of service.
