OverviewThe disc straw spreader DT 250 PIC with bale spike is designed for bedding and handling round and square bales in livestock buildings. Equipped with disc spreaders and a bale spike for loading and transport, the DT 250 PIC distributes straw evenly across a working width up to 6 m. A force-control system adjusts conveyor and distributor speeds to limit blockages during bale processing.
Key features- Bale spike: Handling tool for round and square bales, fitted with 2 tines 130 cm long, Ø 40 mm, with 90 cm spacing between tines.
- Automatic hydraulic connection: Male connector on the spike frame allows control of all hydraulic functions for both the spreader and the spike from the handler (control from the telehandler).
- Tangle preventers and force control: Two tangle preventers synchronized with the moving-floor speed, regulated by a force-control (option) to avoid material buildup and ensure uniform distribution.
- Disc spreaders: Material is distributed by discs to achieve even bedding over widths up to 6 m.
- Moving floor: Force-controlled moving floor regulates feed to prevent blockages when processing bales.
