The ARPAL MAX wood chipper (AM-200BD-K) is the flagship gasoline-driven model of the ARPAL chipper range, designed for mounting on a trailer (trailer not included), with a full 360° rotating feed platform and an adjustable conveyor transporter. Supplied without a road trailer; mounts on the customer's trailer or platform. Engineered for professional use in forestry, municipal services, agriculture and contracting, it processes branches up to 200 mm in diameter with a throughput of up to 14 m³/h.

The machine converts raw timber waste — branches, slabs and edgings — into uniform firewood chunks of 120–240 mm. This output is a superior fuel for solid-fuel and pyrolysis boilers, fireplaces and stoves, and an ideal feedstock for charcoal production. Thanks to the optimal fraction size, the chunks season naturally without specialized drying and store significantly better than traditional logs.

• ARPAL Total Protect safety package: PowerGuard friction clutch and SmartFix tapered couplings slip on overload (~2000 Nm) to protect the drive train; extended hopper geometry makes contact with the knives physically impossible; Quick Stop emergency handle at the hopper edge; all belts and flywheels fully enclosed in protective guards with a safety curtain at the input.
• Easy Start clutch engagement near 1500 rpm — smooth, stress-free startup for both operator and engine.
• ErgoBase functional design: reinforced heavy-duty hopper with 4 mm steel flange and perimeter stiffening ribs, plug-and-play operation with no complicated setup, and premium electrostatic powder coating that keeps the machine corrosion-free and "like-new" even after years of outdoor use.
