Conserving resources and saving costs is possible with the V-MIX Hybrid drive concept. This combines the efficiency of a diesel engine on a trailed feed mixer wagon with the environmental friendliness of electrical energy in stationary operation. The principle: A conventionally trailed feed mixer wagon is equipped with an electric motor and connected to the power grid. This allows the mixer wagon to be used in stationary mode - depending on operational requirements, electric operation can be used for mixing or feeding. BvL is working together with Kurmann Technik AG from Switzerland. This company supplies the electric drive for the system.
