The KATCH by Berthoud is a tunnel sprayer designed for vineyard applications. It combines a large-capacity tank, confined-flow Air Drive panels and a self-cleaning X-Pulse system to enable precise, low-drift applications and simplified maintenance. The machine is built for extended field sessions and fast cleaning, with a user-centred all-electric control architecture for in-cab operation.

Maximised performance and productivity
The KATCH features a 1,500-litre main tank (1,700 litres overflow) and a 150-litre rinse tank to reduce refill stops. Its diamond-shaped sump promotes homogeneous mixing, including with powder products. With a working speed up to 9 km/h and an approved road speed of 40 km/h (French regulation), it covers large vineyard areas efficiently. Full internal cleaning can be completed in approximately 30 minutes. Articulated chassis and a short 75° steering angle provide high manoeuvrability in narrow or complex vineyard rows.

Advanced technology for unrivalled user comfort
All key functions are managed via the all-electric E-SELECT system and the Ec-Tronic Plus in-cab terminal (agitation, rinsing modes, section shut-off). The E-Pilot joystick enables precise remote control of booms and automatic sequences without leaving the cab. The patented X-Pulse panels eject debris automatically from collection grids, reducing operator interventions. Optional boom adjustment and ground-tracking systems ensure consistent application across varying canopy and terrain conditions.

Respect for the environment and sustainable savings
Air Drive technology confines the spray flow to minimise drift and reduce phytosanitary inputs — reductions up to 90% may be achieved depending on vegetative stage and set-up. Recovered spray is filtered, stored and reused to extend autonomy and reduce product consumption. The KATCH is ZNT-approved and designed to limit soil impact with wide tyres and a lightweight construction that preserves structure while maintaining stability.
