BEWI-MILK® AM 5 is a milk replacer with a high crude protein content formulated to meet the needs of calves with high genetic potential. The product enables intensive feeding without premature satiety, maximising daily intake to support optimal growth and lifetime performance of future dairy cows.

The first weeks of a calf’s life are critical for development (metabolic programming). As genomic potential increases, nutrient requirements rise to convert that potential into live weight. Available energy is the primary limiting factor and crude protein level determines whether daily gains are deposited as fat or muscle. To meet crude protein needs, calves require substantial amounts of protein-rich milk replacer.

Application and dosage:
Dissolve 140–160 g of milk replacer per litre of warm water (max. 45 °C). For intensive rearing and during winter, use 160 g per litre. Detailed feeding plans are available in the product documentation.
