BEWI-MILK® AZ 18 is a milk replacer particularly suitable for feeding from the third week of life. It is formulated to ensure high digestibility and to support growth and daily weight gains throughout the rearing phase.

The challenge
Calf rearing focuses on growth, security and optimal exploitation of growth potential. Depending on breeding goals and market conditions, farmers can choose between milk replacers based on skimmed milk or whey powder. Two-phase feeding can save costs in certain market situations. To achieve high performance and good digestibility throughout the rearing period, a milk replacer with a high portion of skimmed milk powder should be selected in the first three weeks of life. For follow-on milk, particular attention must be paid to optimal protein combinations.

Application and dosage
Dissolve 140–160 g milk replacer per liter of warm water (max. 45 °C). In case of intensive rearing and during winter months use 160 g per liter.
