BEWI-MILK® AZ 13 is an acidified milk replacer with a high content of milk protein intended for universal use in calf rearing. It is designed to provide high security and good daily weight gains and is suitable for use with automatic feeding machines.

The first weeks of life of the calf lay the basis for later performance. Intensive rearing can lead to higher performance in the first lactation. Calf milk for ad libitum feeding must meet certain requirements. Acidification offers advantages: it ensures milk stability and helps prevent multiplication of disease-causing bacteria in the small intestine. When choosing a product, attention should be paid to high palatability.

Application and dosage

• Direct feeding: dissolve 140–160 g of milk replacer per liter warm water (max. 40 °C) completely.
• Ad-libitum feeding: dissolve 140–160 g of milk replacer in warm water (20–30 °C) and feed at 25 °C until age 10 days, then at 15 °C.
• In case of intensive rearing and in winter months use 160 g per liter.
