Introduction
Designed for demanding agricultural use, the BIZON drum shredder processes straw, hay, corn and various biomass for feed, bedding and energy applications.

Applications

• Feed preparation for cattle: efficient shredding of straw and hay to obtain the recommended chop length for better animal intake and ration homogeneity.
• Bedding production: processing large straw bales to produce bedding material with adjustable particle length; large screens enable high throughput up to 50 t/h.
• Grinding maize cobs and cereals: handles wet or dry grain, with interchangeable screens to set the desired particle size.
• Biomass processing: shredding various biomass types including wet straw bales and manure for biogas plants and composting.

Connection and operation

• Hitch options: drawbar eye, K80 drawbar eye, Clevis hitch.
• Requires a PTO shaft with 21 teeth and 35 mm diameter (1 3/8" profile) for tractor-driven versions.

• B-800: PTO drive from 90 hp (optional electric motor 75–90 kW), total weight approx. 2500 kg, 48 hammers.
• B-1030: PTO drive from 120 hp (optional electric or diesel motor), total weight approx. 4500 kg, 64 hammers.
• B-1130: for the most demanding tasks, 88 hammers, PTO drive from 210 hp (optional electric or diesel motor), hydraulically operated crushing chamber for easier maintenance; listed weight approx. 6500 kg with power ranges around 200–315 hp.
• Screen sizes: openings from 2 mm to 200 mm for precise chop length control.
• Performance: selected configurations can reach up to ~50 t/h depending on screen and material.
• Suitable for wet and dry materials, wet straw bales, woody material, grasses, biomass for biogas, pellet feedstock and bedding production.
