OverviewThe TopWhite BSPB gently whitens rice using a vertical abrasive top-to-bottom principle. It is designed to produce high whole-kernel yields while minimising breakage through cool-air aspiration and an integrated dedusting and bran discharge system.
Key benefits- Easy access and maintenance: wide doors provide full access to the milling chamber for fast screen changes and inspections.
- Residue control: efficient aspiration and bran discharge keep bran moving out of the whitening chamber into the exhaust system.
- Reduced downtime: settings can be adjusted during operation; all three brakes can be set simultaneously from a central control panel.
Highlight featuresAspiration systemCool-air aspiration cools kernels to reduce fragility and breakage, while the dedusting function conveys bran out of the chamber to support food safety.
ControlsCoarse adjustments are made with the handwheel to change the gap between rotor and brakes; fine tuning is achieved by adjusting the balancing weight of the retaining gate. Central controls allow simultaneous brake settings during operation.
Higher yields - How the TopWhite worksRice enters via two top inlets, is fed by a screw into the processing chamber and is whitened between six abrasive rings and a screen, removing bran using vertical abrasion to maximise whole-grain yield.
