With the help of a power harrow, works are performed to destroy the weeds in soil, to make the soil fluff and to expand its inner surface. By breaking down the soil very well, the seedbed is prepared. Thus, this cultivated soil allows rain and snow waters to pass easily into the depths of the soil. It retains moisture well, aeration is good, and the plant does not show much resistance to elongation of its roots. Another purpose of tillage is to regulate the water and air regime of the soil, so that the air pattern is disturbed if other factors do not change as the water capacity in the soil increases. Therefore, the air and water regimes of the soil make it an optimal balance for plants.
