The hedge cutter/hedge trimmer was developed for shaping and maintaining rows in berry crops such as currants, raspberries, gooseberries and haskap berries.
The machine cuts the sides of the plant rows and shapes them into an optimal V-shape. This pruning method improves light penetration within the plants, promotes healthy plant growth and contributes to increased yields. At the same time, it significantly facilitates the subsequent mechanical berry harvesting process with an automatic harvester.
The cutting unit drive and the adjustment of the working height are fully hydraulic, ensuring precise adjustment and convenient operation.
