The SPARTAN harvesting machine was developed for the fully mechanized harvesting of industrial apples and was created in close cooperation with professional fruit-growing operations. It significantly reduces labour requirements, shortens harvesting time and, at the same time, ensures high fruit quality and a clean harvest.

How It Works

The machine operates with a multi-stage collection and cleaning system that ensures maximum harvesting performance.

• Front collection attachment with ground contouring for the precise collection of apples from the driving lane.
• High-performance blower that blows the fruit out from behind the tree row. This accelerates the second harvesting operation and allows the under-canopy fruit collector to operate at a safe distance from the trunk.
• Hydraulically extendable under-canopy fruit collector that reaches underneath the tree canopy.
• Vertical conveyor with polyurethane paddles for particularly gentle fruit transport.
• Rotating scraper in the conveyor transfer area continuously removes leaves, branches and other contaminants.
• Flexible unloading systems: harvesting into Big Bags (with hydraulic emptying), large crates (crate pallets) or loose onto a trailer.
