Description

Product Overview
The Soil Cultivator MB4B is an economical and environmentally friendly tool designed to provide plants with the best conditions for establishment and growth. It operates intermittently by locking the digging wheel, dragging the torn turf, releasing, and digging again at the next planting site. For self-sufficient forest owners with tractors, this is the most environmentally friendly way to prepare the soil, giving forest plants the optimal start. The MB4B is a spot soil cultivator that saves both time and labor, whether planning self-seeding from seed trees or planting.

Product Information
  • The FTG Soil Cultivator MB4B is mounted on the tractor's three-point lift and is articulated to follow the terrain both up and down and around turns.
  • The cultivator has a digging wheel that is locked with a locking bar, controlled by a time relay in the automatic version. The time relay controls the length of the spots and the distance between them.
  • An overflow valve ensures that if the digging wheel catches on a stump or similar, the wheel automatically releases and rolls freely over.
  • The MB4B is equipped with a load box for extra weight, but usually, the tool's own weight is sufficient.
  • The brake sled with locking bar can be reversed to change the angle of the digging wheel, affecting the digging depth.
  • With the FTG soil cultivator, you get gentler soil processing than with, for example, a harrow, which often leaves deep furrows and overturns stones and stumps.
  • The advantage of tractor-mounted soil cultivators is that you can adapt the soil preparation to the ground without damaging it.
