STARCOMP NEO DRIP IRRIGATION PIPESEmitter pipe with integrated pressure‑compensating (PC), self‑cleaning and anti‑siphon (AS) dripper, designed for precise fertigation in agricultural and horticultural systems.
OverviewSTARCOMP NEO provides uniform flow distribution across working pressures thanks to a silicone membrane incorporated in the dripper. The design yields near‑zero discharge exponent and a Coefficient of Variation (CV) below 5%, qualifying the emitter as category A. Developed by Gestiriego R&D for long line lengths and demanding topographies.
Advantages- High durability: integrated dripper resists UV exposure and temperature variations; pipe manufactured in high‑quality polyethylene to withstand field impacts and pressures; silicone membrane resistant to chemicals and fertilisers.
- Flow uniformity: symmetric geometry and silicone membrane maintain consistent flow from 0.5 to 3.5 bar, enabling extended lateral lengths and reliable performance on uneven terrain (category A, low CV).
- Anti‑clogging: anti‑siphon prevents particle ingress when pipes drain; self‑cleaning membrane vibration during pressure compensation minimizes sedimentation; wide precision labyrinths compatible with standard filtration; raised cross‑shaped prefilter blocks particles larger than the labyrinth minimum width.
Specifications- Nominal diameter: 16 mm.
- Wall thickness: 1.15 mm.
- Available flow rates (Ø16): 1.6 l/h, 2.0 l/h, 3.8 l/h.
- Standard coil length: 400 m at Ø16 (other lengths on request).
- Material: high‑quality polyethylene; silicone membrane in dripper.
- Recommended working pressure: 0.5–3.5 bar (effective pressure compensation in this range).
- Emitter classification: Category A (CV < 5%).
Applications- Long lateral runs and installations with extended spacing.
- Systems on uneven or challenging topographies.
- Open field crops and greenhouses requiring precise fertigation.
- Suitable crops: vineyards, olive groves, fruit trees and similar plantations.
- Suitable for gardening applications (option to insert in brown or white pipe).
