OverviewThe electric mobile construction compressors from KAESER perform where an electrical supply is available. The quiet electric drive of the e-power compressors allows operation in noise-sensitive and environmental protection zones. With an emissions-free drive, use in tunnels, excavations or inside buildings is possible.
MOBILAIR e-power – Applications and featuresThe electric construction compressors are compact, energy-efficient and designed for straightforward handling and low maintenance. e-power units are available with a choice of rigid or height-adjustable drawbar and with or without overrun brake, enabling mobile deployment. Units are also suitable for bridging during maintenance of industrial compressor stations.
Performance data- Flow up to 24.7 m³/min
- Working pressure up to 14 bar
Your advantages- Zero local emissions and low noise
- Suitable for environmental zones and indoor use
- Lower operating and maintenance costs
Indoor useThanks to the emissions-free electric drive, deployment in closed or noise-sensitive areas is possible. The product page includes supplementary media (video) illustrating typical indoor applications.
Electric compressors for large projects (e.g. MOBILAIR M250E / M255E)Powerful stationary e-power models such as MOBILAIR M250E and M255E are designed for outdoor installation. Compact dimensions allow placement in confined spaces and transport by truck; two units can be transported in parallel on a single load bed. A robust skid protects the body and facilitates moving or dragging the unit on site. Stationary models feature star-delta starting and are rated for an ambient temperature range of -10 °C to +40 °C; an optional low-temperature version with internal heater is available for down to -25 °C. Units are delivered ready for connection with a load-disconnect switch; connection can be via terminal box or POWERLOCK connector. An optional modem enables telematics/Industry 4.0 connectivity for monitoring operating hours, location and unit condition and supports maintenance planning and remote diagnostics.
Simple, intuitive operationControl of the e-power units is via an operator panel with six keys (start/stop, pressure setting etc.) and a color display that shows faults and operating status and indicates the countdown to the next service. The panel is protected by a lockable metal cover. With the optional DUAL control, switch-on/off and start-stop automation can be configured easily.
Built-in compressed air treatmentAftercoolers are fitted as standard and mounted with a slope so condensate drains after shutdown to prevent frost damage. Condensate discharged during short-term operation is collected in a built-in canister; for extended use, external discharge is provided (e.g. connection to an oil-water separator possible).
Time and cost savingsThe electric drive eliminates engine oil, fuel and oil filter changes, resulting in longer service intervals and less downtime. Compared with diesel-driven construction compressors, energy cost savings are possible (the product page indicates potential savings of up to approx. 25%).
Media and additional informationTechnical data in the form of brochures and series overviews are available on the product page, together with illustrative images and a video showing application scenarios.
