Description

Corn worm butterflies lay eggs on the leaves of plants. When the larvae are born they penetrate the interior of the plant through the stem until they reach the roots where they will remain in winter, free from frost and predators. In spring they will repeat the cycle. SEGUÉS Agricultural Machinery has developed a crushing roller that acts after the harvest when the corn is still crispy. First, the lower diameter roller works by opening the reeds and then the large one acts, crushing the pieces that are already in the ground, opening the ones that could have been left and mixing the remains with a small layer of earth that will help the decomposition more quickly. SERIAL EQUIPMENT • Double roller of different size • Constant pressure of the sections by hydraulic system • CAT III hitch
