Overview
Paper chainpots for mechanized transplanting on 30 cm (12") in-row spacing. Each chain contains 190 foldable paper cells suitable for leafy and brassica crops such as cabbage and broccoli.

Product information
These chainpots use 190-cell chains; standard nursery tools sized for 264-cell trays (seeders, dibble boards, opening frames) are not compatible. For transplanting LP353-30 with the paperpot transplanter (HP-16), we recommend using a deeper furrow maker and the guide plate to ensure proper placement and soil coverage.

Chainpot description
Chainpots are foldable paper seedling trays forming a honeycomb when expanded. The honeycomb is composed of a continuous chain of 190 cells that can be unwound from the edge. When used with a paperpot transplanter, the chain is drawn out, inserted into the soil and covered. The paper is treated for sufficient strength to resist decomposition during the nursery period. Depending on soil conditions, the paper may remain in the field after harvest; remove the paper if required.
