The manure spreaders Muck Master M1655 series (formerly M16) and M1855 (formerly M18) are available in three versions. They are equipped by a commercial axle 150mm (brakes 420 x 180), a bogie fixed with steering Axle 130mm (brakes 406 x 120) or a lowered fixed tandem with steering axle 130mm (brakes 406 x 120). Depending on the product, the spreading width can be between 8 to over 15 meters. The M1655 Muck Master, with an accurate heaped capacity of 16m3, can be transformed to a M1855 by adding side extensions for a longer lifespan and thus increasing the volume capacity to 18m3. These muck spreaders are equipped with a fully galvanised straight body which can be dismantled. In order to get a quality spreading pattern, PICHON chose to put together two vertical beaters with oversized diameter (1035mm) and 52 reversible blades which are driven by a single “monobloc” gearbox. The specific position of the beaters frame prevents the product to be spread from being pushed back inside the body thereby reducing power required on PTO. This unique PICHON design is clearly a genuine innovation. By combining this design with the oversized beaters, PICHON enables its users to spread all kind of products with accurate spread pattern and high volume outputs. Standard features on these spreaders are: front protection with inside view, galvanised sprung drawbar and adjustable hydraulic jack. The floor made of 70mm U-shaped slats can be fitted with Marine chains 16mm diameter, with PICHON flat chains or Vaucanson chains 20mm diameter. The floor is driven by an oversized gearbox with a 10.000Nm torque and controlled by an in-cab electric box.
