SILINORD® – 100% bioavailable organic silicon (orthosilicic acid) + micronutrients (B, Cu, Mn, Mo, Zn) SILINORD® is a liquid silicon solution in the form of
orthosilicic acid (highly soluble and readily assimilated silicon), designed for
foliar and
root / fertigation applications. It can be used at
all crop stages and is formulated as an
EC Fertiliser, with an additional supply of
B, Cu, Mn, Mo and Zn. It holds
ZERYA certification (residue-free and sustainable product).
Crops where it is especially recommendedAlthough suitable for all crops (agriculture, horticulture, hydroponics and floriculture), it is particularly interesting for:
- Grapevine (table grapes and winemaking)
- Fruit trees, especially apple
- Vegetables: tomato, pepper, cucumber and horticulture in general
- Floriculture & ornamentals (cut flowers and potted plants)
- Nurseries (seedlings and plant material)
- Lawns / turf (sports fields, golf courses, landscaping)
- Rice (a silicon-responsive crop)
- And other crops where strengthening tissues and improving water management and stress tolerance is beneficial (e.g., under salinity, drought, excess sodium, or cold/frost).
Agronomic benefits
- Structural reinforcement & barrier effect: helps improve tissue strength and elasticity, supporting the plant’s natural defence system.
- Water management & stress tolerance: helps reduce evaporation and improves water management; supports tolerance to frost and biotic/abiotic stress.
- Nutritional efficiency: positively influences uptake and transport of other minerals, with a regulatory effect (P, Ca, Mn and B).
- Lower incidence of rots: hinders pathogen multiplication/penetration thanks to silicon’s effect on cell walls.
