Overview
Spread-a-Bale is a bale spreading attachment engineered for fast, low-dust bedding of livestock housing and sheds. It self-loads bales from the stack or the floor and handles both round and square bales. Once attached, the machine spreads a full bale in under one minute while requiring only 55 litres/minute of hydraulic oil flow. The design excludes electrics and focuses on low maintenance and low running costs for reliable daily operation.

The Side Throw (ST) is one of three configurable head variations (2VR, HR and ST). The Side Throw (ST) is designed for bedding down narrow passageways with the rotor being able to spread a distance of up to 26ft either to the left, to the right or out in front with the direction of choice being facilitated with just the turn of a canopy and valve.

The Side Throw (ST), like all Spread-a-Bale machines, comes in a variety of body sizes to suit your loader's lift capacity and the bales sizes that you use. We offer two body ranges: Lite Range and M-Range. Our Lite Range is designed for 1 to 1.5 tonne tractor loaders, skid steers and Hoff loaders. Our M-Range is our traditional range for 1.7 to 3 tonne telescopic and industrial loaders.
