Overview
ECONOV manages the actual curved centrifugal spreading pattern on mounted spreaders in the X40+ and X50+ ranges to ensure uniform distribution and reduce fertiliser use. Works with working widths from 12 to 50 m and hopper capacities up to 4200 l.

SPEED CONTROL technology
SPEED CONTROL is a patented, speed‑adaptive system developed with IRSTEA and validated on the CEMIB test bench. It provides a 3D understanding of the fertiliser layer and adapts the spreading pattern to forward speed to preserve distribution quality at varying travel speeds.

Distribution precision and modulation
Right/left modulation combined with SPEED CONTROL improves dose accuracy: the spreader automatically modulates dose to right and left according to prescription maps, reducing intra‑plot heterogeneity and optimising yield potential.

ECONOV features

• Manages the curved shape of the centrifugal spread pattern (operates in curves)
• Infinite-width adjustment via an adjustable chute that changes the feed point on the disc
• No sprockets, plates or blades to handle during adjustment — settings made safely away from moving parts
• ISOBUS ECONOV controls up to 12 equal sections regardless of working width; sections open/close following the true spread shape

New hydraulic disc drive (New)
Optional hydraulic drive maintains constant disc speed independent of tractor engine rpm, allowing low engine speeds (example 1500 rpm) while preserving spreading quality. Available across X40+ and X50+ ranges.

Hopper sensors and accessories
Optional left/right hopper end sensors warn when one side is nearly empty — useful for GPS right/left modulation and ECONOV section cut‑off. Electric edge modes and X TRIBORD 3D options available for safe edge spreading from the cab.

Warranty
7‑year anti‑perforation corrosion warranty on DX, X and XT fertiliser distributors manufactured from 1 September 2019.
