Applications
Recommended for municipal and industrial fire departments, petrochemical and nuclear plants, naval use and other industrial services requiring layflat hose.

Construction
Circularly woven 100% high tenacity synthetic yarn fully encapsulated by a synthetic nitrile rubber and PVC blend extruded through the weave to form a homogeneous construction without glues or adhesives.

Lining properties

• Ultimate tensile strength (lining): minimum guaranteed 1750 psi (12,000 kPa)
• Ultimate elongation (lining): minimum 450%

Abrasion resistance
Tested to FM2111 and UL19 abrasion standards to extend hose life where abrasion is a primary concern.

Service temperature range
-4°F (-20°C) to 176°F (80°C). Special versions available for higher or lower temperatures.

Ozone resistance
No visible cracking of lining or cover when tested to ASTM D518 Procedure B, 100 pphm / 104°F (40°C).

Chemical resistance
Resistant to seawater and contamination by most chemicals, hydrocarbons, oils and greases; chemical compatibility chart available.

Heat resistance
Withstands surface temperature of 1112°F (600°C) for minimum two minutes without rupture or damage to synthetic reinforcement at static pressure of 100 psi (700 kPa).

Couplings
Available as requested by purchaser: NH-Rocker Lug, Storz, Guillemin, Barcelona, etc.

Lengths
Standard lengths: 50 ft (15 m), 100 ft (30 m), 200 ft (60 m). Special lengths: 330 ft (100 m), 660 ft (200 m).
