Description

Short description
Extruded rubber lay flat fire hose designed for fast deployment and retrieval, with high resistance to fire, heat, abrasion and chemicals. Manufactured according to Spanish UNE 23 091/2B norm.

Key features
  • Designed for rapid deployment and retrieval in firefighting operations
  • Manufactured to Spanish UNE 23 091/2B standard
  • Extruded, ultra-resistant outer cover of synthetic nitrile rubber & PVC
  • High resistance to fire, heat, abrasion and common industrial chemicals

Applications
Recommended for municipal fire brigades, petrochemical and nuclear plants, naval use and industrial services where high flow rate, durability and safety are required.

Construction
Circularly woven 100% high-tenacity synthetic yarn fully impregnated and locked by an extruded nitrile rubber & PVC blend, forming a monolithic construction without adhesives. Produced using an extruded-through-the-weave process developed for extruded lay-flat firefighting hoses.

Lining Properties
  • Lining ultimate tensile strength: minimum guaranteed 12 MPa (1750 psi)
  • Lining ultimate elongation: minimum 450%

Couplings
Available options: NH-Rocker Lug, Storz, Guillemin, Barcelona and similar coupling types.

Ozone Resistance
No visible cracking of lining or cover when tested to ASTM D518 Procedure B, 100 pphm / 40°C (104°F).

Chemical Resistance
Resistant to seawater and contamination by most chemicals, hydrocarbons, oils and greases; chemical resistance chart available for specific applications.

Heat Resistance
Withstands a surface temperature of 600°C (1112°F) for a minimum of two minutes without rupture or damage to synthetic reinforcement at 100 psi (700 kPa) static pressure.

Abrasion Resistance
Excellent abrasion resistance, tested according to FM2111 and UL19 standards.

Service Temperature Range
-30°C (-22°F) to 80°C (176°F). Special versions available for higher or lower temperatures.

Lengths & Colours
Standard lengths: 15 m (50 ft), 30 m (100 ft), 60 m (200 ft). Special lengths: 100 m (330 ft) and 200 m (660 ft) available. Colour options depend on configuration and firefighting standards.
