A key component in any Tong mobile or static vegetable grading line is a suitable cleaning unit. The coil cleaner ensures effective separation of soil, clod and haulm from crop post-harvest. Tong offers a wide range of vegetable separators, which can be specified to suit your exact crop cleaning requirements. Allowing you to achieve more accurate and efficient grading results, or simply to remove excess soil from crop prior to transport or storage. Tong’s next-generation coil cleaner has been proven to make light work of both sizing and cleaning. PU & STEEL COIL CLEANER Manufactured in a choice of polyurethane (PU) or steel coil rollers, Tong’s coil cleaner is available as a fixed or adjustable cleaning unit. It can be specified as your chosen cleaner separator in a custom-built static grading or vegetable washing line. The coil cleaning unit can also be integrated into one of Tong’s mobile vegetable grading machines including the Caretaker, Storemaker and Fieldloader. Designed as an efficient cleaning system suitable for light soil conditions, the Tong coil cleaner can also be fitted after an EasyClean Separator, ideal for sizing out smaller crop between 15mm to 55mm. Built with 4, 6 or 8 rows of spiral coils or PU rollers the coil cleaner is gentle on crop whilst effectively removing loose soil, small stones and clod from the crop.
