Introducing the Vegetable Star Cleaner, which effectively removes soil, clod and haulm from crop post-harvest. The Tong Vegetable Star Cleaner gives effective crop cleaning results on a wide range of crop from potatoes and carrots to onions, swede, bulbs and more. Allowing you to achieve more accurate and efficient vegetable grading, or simply remove excess soil from crop prior to transport or storage. INDUSTRIAL VEGETABLE WASHING MACHINE Featuring 4, 6 or 8 rows of 14 or 18 fingered polyurethane (PU) stars, Tong’s industrial vegetable washing machine can be specified as your chosen separator in a custom-built static grading or washing line. Alternatively, it can be integrated into one of Tong’s mobile vegetable handling machines including the Caretaker mobile vegetable grader, Storemaker and Fieldloader. The star cleaner can be specified as a fixed or adjustable unit. It is effective when working in a variety of soil conditions and can also be fitted with the option of a VertiCam system for improved self-cleaning of stars.
