DESCRIPTION
In intensive lamb fattening, digestive problems have two usual sources: coccidia challenge in the fattening units and the quality of the cereals in the feed. And in sheep there is a third factor that shapes any mineral supplement: their sensitivity to copper, which means formulating separately and not using cattle mineral supplements.
AMBomba Corderos 0,75 % MicoxCocci is AMBiotec Nutrition's mineral complementary feed for fattening lambs in intensive systems, from weaning to slaughter. It provides vitamins A, D3, E, B1 and B6, betaine and the trace elements zinc, manganese, iodine, cobalt and selenium, with no added copper. It adds Saccharomyces cerevisiae cell walls (mannan-oligosaccharides and β-glucans), bentonite and sepiolite, and a mixture of flavouring substances at 54,740 mg/kg. According to the catalogue, it includes additives for the control of the most relevant mycotoxins in raw materials and a core aimed at coccidia control throughout the fattening period.
It is added to the feed at 7.5 kg per tonne.
WHAT IT BRINGS TO THE FARM

• Formulated for sheep: no added copper, to respect the lamb's sensitivity to copper.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Administration: orally, via the feed. For use exclusively in the manufacture of animal feed.
• Dose: 7.5 kg per tonne of feed.

Field example: a 10-tonne batch of lamb fattening feed takes 75 kg of product, two and a half 30 kg bags. A 1,200 kg big bag covers 160 tonnes of feed.
Practical points: do not use cattle mineral supplements in lambs, because of the copper; pre-blend with part of the feed before it goes into the mixer; do not give oral macrolides at the same time (because of the bentonite); and handle it with a dust mask, gloves and safety goggles.
COMPOSITION AND ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS

• Other additives (per kg): antioxidants BHT (E321) 34 mg and BHA 8 mg; mixture of flavouring substances 54,740 mg; sepiolite 115,800 mg; bentonite (1m558i) 29,570 mg.
• Analytical constituents: calcium 23.7 %, magnesium 3.8 %, sodium 0.9 %, phosphorus 0.01 %.
• Physico-chemical properties: coarse greyish powder with a characteristic odour; pH 7 ± 1; density 1.4 ± 0.3 g/ml; water solubility below 15 %.
• How the formula works: the same architecture as the Micox Cocci mineral supplement for calves, reformulated for sheep without copper.

SAFETY AND COMPATIBILITY
