Product descriptionAn erect-branched shrub of medium to large size, resembling the 'Irish Yew' (Taxus baccata 'Fastigiata') in habit. Leaves almost black-green, spreading all round the shoots. Probably derived as a sport from C. harringtonia. Fruits are ovoid to obovoid, 2-2.5 cm long and olive-green, borne on drooping peduncles 6-10 mm long. Commonly used as specimen planting or in formal groupings where an upright habit is required.
