Main applications
- Precision agricultural land levelling on medium and large fields.
- Earthmoving and preparation of large surfaces.
- Industrial yards, buildings, roads, sports fields and airports.
- Cross-slope work when fitted with the dual-mast or dedicated GPS system.
Main advantages
- Modular configurations from 4.50 to 7 m allow each machine to be adapted to the area and required output.
- The self-contained hydraulic system provides a dedicated precision circuit for the leveller's functions.
- Hydraulic tilt correction and blade-pitch adjustment let the operator adapt machine attitude and blade action to working conditions.
- Automatic hydraulic folding brings the blades to 2.55 m without fitting pins, bolts or tie rods, simplifying operational transfers.
- The arm carriage is standard; Fontana's patented central pivot is available to increase blade stability, consistent operation and grade maintenance.
- Laser or GPS configuration lets the customer select the control system best suited to the project and ground geometry.
Why Choose Fontana
- Tailored configuration: modular widths, carriage options and control systems adapt each MAXI to the required job.
- Higher productivity: 4.50 to 7 m blades, self-contained hydraulics and precision control help cover large areas with fewer corrective passes.
- Simpler logistics: automatic blade folding to 2.55 m and modular configurations reduce manual operations and unproductive time.
- Fontana build quality: Italian design and manufacturing, technical expertise and premium materials selected without compromise contribute to reliability and long service life.
- Fontana's identity is rooted in the farming background of its founder, Aurelio Fontana. His first-hand understanding of growers' needs guides practical, reliable machines built for real field conditions.
- Long-term value: technical assistance and spare-parts support for machines purchased many years ago help extend operating life.
Full description
The MAXI series comprises modular trailed land levellers for precision work over agricultural, industrial and earthmoving areas. MAXI 500 works at 5.00 or 4.50 m, MAXI 600 at 6.00 m and MAXI 700 at 7.00 or 6.00 m, allowing each machine to be adapted to the area and required output. Control can be configured with Laser or GPS technology.
The standard tilt corrector, blade-pitch adjustment and self-contained hydraulic system adapt machine attitude and blade action to operating conditions. The 130 cm high blade folds automatically to 2.55 m without requiring the manual fitting of pins, bolts or tie rods. The arm carriage with 40 cm wide wheels is standard; Fontana's patented central-pivot carriage is available as an option for customers requiring greater blade stability and more consistent grade maintenance.
Designed and manufactured in Italy with specialist build expertise and premium materials selected without compromise, MAXI is built for reliability, operating continuity and long service life. Options configure each model with more wheels, dual mast, proportional control, stabilising skids, blade modules, lateral orientation on MAXI 500 and dedicated cross-slope systems.
