Description

Overview
Solid, straightforward and reliable, Infratec™ uses near-infrared (NIR) technology to perform fast quantitative analysis of cereals and oilseeds. Designed for grain quality control in reception, storage and processing, it delivers consistent results for routine laboratory and on-site testing.

Key features
  • Value: Simplifies quality control workflows with an intuitive touch interface and digital connectivity. Built on proven NIR calibration models and robust instrument design.
  • Sample type: Barley, wheat, corn and other cereals, oilseeds, beans and pulses.
  • Parameters: Moisture, protein, oil, test weight, starch, wet gluten, fibre, ash and many more.

ANN database
The Infratec™ database contains over 50,000 cross-checked reference samples. Calibrations use PLS and robust ANN models developed from many harvests and a wide sample range, providing stability and the ability to handle atypical samples worldwide.

Connectivity and software
FossConnect™ provides centralised network management for Infratec™, enabling remote configuration, monitoring and data management. Integration with FOSS IQX™ digital services and LIMS improves traceability and operational efficiency.

Established standard
Infratec™ is an internationally established standard for rapid determination of protein, moisture, oil and starch. A patented stabilising technique maintains result consistency across varying conditions. Operational temperature range: -4 °C to +40 °C. Example accuracy: protein predictive accuracy within 0.1% under validated conditions.
