OverviewThis hammer-type mill is designed for sample preparation for Falling Number, gluten index and other reference analysis methods. Built for laboratory use, the Hammertec™ is compact and lighter than comparable units and reduces operating noise by at least 1.5 dB compared with existing solutions.
Features- Design minimises sample carry-over: high-speed hammer impact crushes grains, feeds and meals into a fine, homogeneous powder to reduce cross-contamination and improve repeatability.
- Meets key AACCI / ICC / ISO requirements: configurable with 0.5 mm or 0.8 mm screens to produce meal with particle-size distribution matching method specifications (>500 μm: 0–10%; >210 and <500 μm: 25–40%; <210 μm: 75–50% for 0.5 mm; 0.8 mm screen suitable for wholemeal product as per ISO 8.1.3).
Sample type- Dry, free-flowing whole cereal grain samples: common wheat, common rye, durum wheat and barley.
Parameters- Primary application: laboratory sample preparation for reference analyses (Falling Number, gluten index, etc.).
