Requirements and operation
The mower fuses front‑facing camera AI and satellite navigation to reach centimetre‑level positioning when correction data is available. Correction data is delivered via Husqvarna Cloud and requires continuous cellular or Wi‑Fi coverage across the entire lawn for the satellite solution. Where internet coverage is not available, the EPOS® RS1 reference station can provide local high‑accuracy correction. Automower® Connect is used to create and adjust work areas, temporary stay‑out zones and to select mowing patterns.

How AI vision works
The onboard camera detects objects such as toys, balls, sprinkler heads and wildlife. Images are processed locally by on‑board AI to classify objects and decide appropriate reactions (avoidance, bypass). Infrared capability allows detection at low light. Images are processed inside the mower and are not stored or shared externally.

Notes on installation
Wire‑free installation relies on accurate satellite positioning and requires open‑sky conditions plus correction data via cellular or Wi‑Fi. In gardens with restricted sky view (dense trees, buildings), an EPOS® RS1 reference station may be required to achieve optimal positioning accuracy.
