Overview
Husqvarna Automower® 430V NERA is a high-performing wire free robotic lawn mower designed to master large lawns with excellent precision. Built for lawns up to 4,800 m² (systematic pattern) and up to 3,200 m² in irregular pattern mode, it uses satellite-based virtual boundaries and advanced AI vision to provide flexible, robust installation and highly accurate navigation.

Requirements

• Cellular or Wi‑Fi internet coverage across the full lawn area is required for the wire free/satellite-based operation.
• If full cellular or Wi‑Fi coverage is not available, a Husqvarna EPOS® RS1 reference station can be purchased as a stand-alone solution.
• The Automower® Connect app is required to configure virtual boundaries, work areas and stay-out zones, and to control the mower remotely.

App & setup
All setup and configuration for virtual boundaries, customizable work areas and temporary stay‑out zones are done in the Automower® Connect app. The app provides remote control and enables features such as zone control, profiles and firmware updates via FOTA (Firmware Over The Air).

AI vision & navigation
The forward-facing camera uses advanced AI to detect objects (toys, balls, sprinkler heads, wildlife, etc.), identify their type and react accordingly. Image processing is performed inside the mower; images are not stored or shared. AI vision combines with satellite navigation to ensure continued full-lawn coverage even in areas with weak satellite signals.

Notes on installation & performance
To achieve centimetre-level accuracy the mower receives correction data via Husqvarna Cloud (no extra cost) which typically gives position accuracy better than 5 cm when cellular/Wi‑Fi coverage is present. The EPOS® RS1 reference station is available as an accessory to provide very high position accuracy (approx. 2–3 cm) without requiring internet coverage.
