  • Liquid tank options: factory-installed liquid tanks up to 2271 L (600 gal) capacity with clear sight tube, air bleed, and overflow protection.
  • Liquid Transfer Automation allows automated fertilizer transfer from tractor to planter when configured in SeedStar 5, reducing operator tasks and helping manage tank weight distribution.

Drive, metering, and application accuracy
  • Seed meters: vacuum meter base; designed to work with ExactEmerge™ and MaxEmerge™ 5e row units.
  • Variable-rate drive motors and closed-loop systems available for precise seed and fertilizer application; features include turn compensation and curve compensation to maintain population accuracy across curved passes.
  • ExactRate and ExactShot systems use central flowmeters, pressure sensors, and nozzle bodies with pulse-width modulation (PWM) to achieve accurate application and documentation.

Row-unit and downforce technologies
  • ExactEmerge™ row units or MaxEmerge™ 5e row units available; Tru-Vee double-disk openers.
  • Individual Row Hydraulic Downforce (IRHD): closed-loop, row-by-row hydraulic downforce system reacting quickly to changing soil conditions; adjustable applied downforce with rapid response and accumulators for durability.
  • Integrated pneumatic and active pneumatic downforce options: set-point or active control via G5 Display/SeedStar 5 to maintain target downforce margin across the planter (factory installed or available as attachment/upgrade).
