Product description
The winter fence tape from Olli is designed for long-term, permanent electric fences in cold and snowy conditions. The tape is 40 mm wide and features two separate conductor bundles to maintain fence functionality when ground contact is reduced or lost.

Key features

• Green-and-white tape with two separate wire bundles: one for shock (energised) and one for earthing (return).
• The conductor marked with red colour in the white part of the tape is energised via the energiser shock terminal (lightning symbol).
• The conductor running in the green part is connected to the energiser’s earthing terminal.
• An animal receives a shock only when it contacts both conductor bundles simultaneously.
• Provides a separate return path to the energiser so the fence continues to function when contact with ground is poor (e.g., snow) or in very dry or rocky soil.
• Durable Shockteq construction for year-round use in long-term fence installations.

Tips

• Suitable for dry or rocky fencing conditions due to its separate return path to the energiser.
• Although the winter tape can function without additional earthing rods in many conditions, we recommend using earthing rods to ensure conventional fence behaviour in cases such as touching only one edge of the tape or interruptions at tape joints and gates.
