Rotary screen for compost L 3000 This professional machine is designed for granulometric screening of organic materials such as compost, soil, or wood chips, offering an excellent quality/price ratio. It is mounted on a robust welded steel frame. The drive is located at the front of the machine, with all hydraulic transmission components. In the central part are the two axles supporting the screening drum. The drum rotation is ensured by a chain welded onto the drum and a motor-reducer unit. The drum is made with a 5 mm thick sheet. The mesh of the screen is made according to need. Only one operator is required to change the drum. Further details: The large hopper is equipped with a metal feed belt or, for special requirements, a rubber belt. An adjustable brush is mounted longitudinally on the drum to keep the screening surface clean. In the standard version, fines and rejects are evacuated by conveyors that discharge the material at a height of 2.6 m. These machines are used for compost screening, separation of dry and wet waste, screening of wood chips, recovery of wood waste and shredded pallets. They can be used in various sectors, especially in fertilizer production, where they help ensure a high-quality final product. Pezzolato rotary screens, like the L 3000, are also used for screening wood chips to ensure calibration in automatic-feed boilers. In fact, they separate, in a single pass, the fine parts and oversized pieces to obtain a product of homogeneous granulometry. The L 3000 is available with three types of drive: by tractor PTO, by an autonomous engine (diesel), and by an electric motor. Rotary screens in stationary electric version can be installed on feet or on a concrete base. In this version, the screening system is reduced to the essentials, while ensuring productivity, reduced maintenance, and great ease of use.
