S 9000 is the medium/large size Pezzolato shredder. It is ideal for the disposal of the organic waste (for compost preparation) and of the wood waste (for biomass production). The very large hopper and high production capacity make it an ideal machine for operating in municipal ecological areas, for contractors and professional composters. The thick set of 96 articulated mobile hammers mounted on the rotor, with or without WIDIA coating, guarantees together with the fixed back frame a fine and uniform shredding, reducing the time for the preparation of the compost. The biomass is loaded manually or by mechanical means into the large, open-sided hopper. This hopper is equipped with a closed-chain conveyor belt, hooks on the bottom and a hydraulic dosing roller, which presses and regulates the passage of the product towards the action of the hammers. The rotor, composed of many discs placed side by side, reduces the risk of damage if any material which cannot be shredded is accidentally introduced. The electronic ‘NO STRESS’ device regulates the feeding according to the available power, preventing the motor from overloading and the machine from obstructions. A rubber discharge belt, or a deflector for discharge to the ground, completes the basic equipment. The S 9000 is available with three types of drive: the PTO of the tractor, an autonomous (diesel) engine or an electric motor.
