S 10000 is the biggest Pezzolato shredder. Equipped with a large-diameter rotor and 28 mobile and ‘heavy’ hammers, with WIDIA coating, it is ideal for the disposal of the organic waste (for compost preparation) and of woody scraps (for biomass production), guaranteeing high productivity with any type of wood to be shredded. The very large hopper and high production capacity make it an ideal machine for operating in municipal ecological areas, for contractors and professional composters. These machines have a unique shredding apparatus, consisting of a rotor that, acting from top to bottom, brings the material against a fixed back frame, thus ensuring a fine and uniform shredding. A system of small knives mounted at the end of the rotor allows the most consistent timber to be processed, facilitating the action of the hammers. The biomass is loaded by mechanical means into the large hopper equipped with a closed-chain conveyor belt, hooks on the bottom and a toothed roller, which presses and regulates the passage of the product towards the action of the hammers. Instead of the toothed dosing roller, a floating inclined belt can be installed for this machine, designed to facilitate the introduction of extremely bulky material. The rotor, composed of many discs placed side by side, reduces the risk of damage if any material which cannot be shredded is accidentally introduced. The electronic ‘NO STRESS’ device regulates the feeding according to the available power, preventing the motor from overloading and the machine from obstructions. The S 10000 is available with three types of drive: the PTO of the tractor, an autonomous (diesel) engine or an electric motor.
