Product overview
Master FLOW is a corn header developed by experienced specialists for high-capacity harvesting. It features a simple, durable construction, exceptionally long rotors for higher forward speeds (up to 12 km/h in appropriate settings) and a standard roto-cut cutter that shreds stems at 25 m/s. The section design ensures continuous mass flow and reduces clogging. Grain augers for lodged maize and side spirals for lodged crops are standard. Working widths available from 4 to 12 rows (rigid frame) and from 6 to 12 rows (hydraulically folded frame).

Gearboxes in cast-iron housings

• Bevel gearboxes operate in an oil bath with carbon steel gear wheels hardened to ~50 HRC for long, reliable service.

Long service life of working elements

• Working elements made of wear-resistant materials and tungsten carbide coating (>60 HRC).
• Blade design allows reversal of edges after wear to extend service life.
• Adjustable counter-knives to adapt to wet or weed-infested conditions and to prevent material wrapping around rotors.
• Design example: blade life up to ~200 ha per row depending on conditions.

Long working sections
Long rotors reduce grain losses at higher forward speeds. Rotor total length 680 mm with gearbox input speed 620 rpm enables operation up to 12 km/h with minimal losses under suitable conditions.

Adjustment of the stripper's deck plates

• Central adjustment system for stripper deck plates allows gap setting from the operator cab (hydraulic or electric actuator depending on combine).
• Individual section calibration possible via manual screw adjustment of the second deck plate.
• Chains on large-diameter gear wheels placed close to stripper gap reduce cob clipping and limit the need for frequent adjustments.

Universality
PWL headers can be mounted on most combine harvesters by selecting the appropriate mounting frame, hydraulic couplings and gearbox reduction. Tilt adjustment and universal frame settings allow adaptation to working angle and field conditions.

Crop dividers
Row covers and crop dividers are made of flexible, lightweight plastic to minimize losses when cobs fall on covers. Divider widths available for 70 cm and 75 cm row spacing.

Side spirals
Conical side spirals for lodged maize are standard — simple, lightweight and durable to improve performance in damaged stands.

Drive transmission

• Rigid headers: external drive via cast-iron angular gearboxes and PTO shafts for low maintenance and reliability.
• Hydraulically foldable-frame headers: internal chain drive with central trapezoidal couplings; drive engaged from cab with loads limited to lateral sections.
• Central friction clutch protects the machine from damage caused by sudden jams and supports higher working speeds.

Active chain tensioners
Chains are automatically tensioned by internal springs to maintain correct tension during operation; chains can be removed or replaced easily after loosening a single screw.
