Description

Overview
MasterFlow is a corn header engineered for high-throughput harvesting. It features long rotors, clog-resistant section design and a roto-cut cutter for efficient stalk cutting at 25 m/s. Working widths cover multiple configurations: 4–12 rows on rigid frames and 6–12 rows on hydraulically folded frames; available divider widths 70 or 75 cm.

System – roto-cut
The roto-cut cutter is directly driven from the harvest gearbox and can be engaged/disengaged via a key. It uses 60 HRC tungsten-carbide coated knives (2- or 3-blade options) positioned under the main gearbox to reduce collision risk and blade wear. Cutting speed at blade tip: 25 m/s.

Gearboxes in cast-iron housings
Bevel gearboxes run in an oil bath with carbon-steel gears hardened to 50 HRC and are housed in cast-iron casings designed to withstand high loads, ensuring long service life and low failure risk.

Long service life of working elements
Stripper section components use wear-resistant materials with tungsten-carbide coating (>60 HRC). Blades are reversible to extend use; counter-knives are adjustable to reduce wrapping and enable operation in wet or weedy conditions. Typical service life: up to 200 ha per row.

Long working sections
Headers use long rotors (total length 680 mm) combined with a gearbox input speed of 620 rpm to allow operating speeds up to 12 km/h while minimizing grain losses.

Adjustment of the stripper's deck plates
Central adjustment permits deck plate gap changes from the cab (hydraulic or electric actuator depending on combine). Individual sections can be fine-tuned manually via screws. Chains run on large-diameter sprockets to keep them close to the stripper gap and prevent corncob clipping.

Universality
MasterFlow headers can be mounted on a wide range of combines using appropriate mounting frames, hydraulic couplings and gearbox reductions. Tilt and frame settings allow selection of optimal working angle for different machines.

Crop dividers
Row covers and crop dividers are made from flexible lightweight plastic to reduce crop losses and machine mass; divider widths selectable for 70 or 75 cm row spacing.

Side spirals
Standard conical side spirals provide effective handling of lodged maize: simple, light and designed for damaged-crop efficiency.

Drive transmission
Rigid-frame headers use external drive via cast-iron angular gearboxes and PTO shafts. Foldable-frame headers use an internal drive chain with central trapezoidal couplings and in-cab engagement. A central friction clutch protects the drive from sudden jams and supports higher working speeds.

Active chain tensioners
Chains are automatically tensioned by internal springs for reliable operation; chain removal and replacement are simplified via a single-screw release.
