Product overview
THX-360 (36 ft) and THX-600 (60 ft) are post-harvest tillage harrows designed to manage heavy straw and chaff loads, improve water infiltration, accelerate soil warming and promote weed-seed germination for efficient pre-seed burn-off. A single row of 20 in concave discs followed by a five-bar heavy harrow chops straw, mixes residue into the topsoil and levels the surface for consistent seedbed preparation.

Design & operation
The THX uses a single row of 20 in concave discs set at 10° on 8.5 in spacing to size straw and mix residue. Discs mount to a four-bolt service-free hub and a specially designed rubber torsion shank for long life and reliable ground following. Rear-mounted single-point depth control allows quick adjustment of disc depth via a sliding setting.

Harrow & pressure options
Harrow tines feature coils that increase toward the outer tines to reduce stress in field work. Pressure options include Spring adjustment and Hydraulic (Manual or Electronic). The Spring system provides adjustable down pressure via two tension springs. Hydraulic systems use cylinders on the harrow arms to apply down or up pressure — up pressure removes weight for very heavy debris or wet conditions. The Manual Hydraulic model uses a hitch-mounted valve for adjustment; the Electronic Hydraulic model enables cab-controlled adjustment via a monitor.

Construction & durability
Main frame is built from 12" x 12" x 3/8" tubing for required mass and rigidity. Cast wing knuckles use 2.5" diameter pins and greasable spring-steel bushings for long life. A hydraulically actuated lock replaces cables for wing tension links and includes a lock pin to prevent inadvertent cylinder actuation during field operation.
