The IM-SR/IM-SRP2 quick relief valve is an automatic safety valve designed to rapidly discharge overpressure from a pressurized system to protect installations from pressure overloads. It is suited for hydraulic networks that require a fast response to sudden pressure rises.

Operating principle:

• Actuated by a two-way quick relief pilot (models SR or SR-P).
• The valve remains closed at normal upstream pressure.
• When upstream pressure exceeds the setpoint, the pilot opens the valve rapidly to discharge the overpressure.
• After discharge, the main valve closes slowly to minimize water hammer and ensure system stability.
