The IM-RP3PP pressure reducing valve is designed to automatically reduce the inlet pressure to a lower and constant outlet value, ensuring precise downstream pressure control despite upstream pressure or flow variations. It is controlled by a 3-way hydraulic pilot and allows manual override for full open/close operation.
Technical Specifications:- Valve Type: Hydraulic, 3-way
- Pilot: Model RP3PP
- Pressure Adjustment Range:
- Grey Spring: 0.2÷1.5 bar
- White Spring: 0.6÷3.0 bar
- Red Spring (Standard): 1.0÷5.5 bar
- Black Spring: 2.0÷9.0 bar
- Materials:
- Pilot Body: Reinforced nylon
- Cover: Reinforced nylon
- Manual Control CM4V: Brass, with stainless steel ball and Teflon seat
- Connections:
- Manual control body: Ø1/4” M BSP
- Open/Close/Auto: Ø1/8” F BSP
- Protection Rating: IP66 (solenoid)
Operating Principle:The valve is operated by a 3-way hydraulic pilot (RP3PP) which modulates the main valve diaphragm opening to maintain the set downstream pressure by filling or discharging the valve control chamber. When inlet pressure is equal to or below the set pressure the valve fully opens to minimize head loss. A 3-way manual control (CM4V) allows independent full opening or closing regardless of the pilot.
