Product overviewThe Hydroval U2C Ultrasonic double chamber hydrometer (IDROMEMBRANA® line) is a diaphragm automatic hydraulic water meter designed for agricultural irrigation and gardening. It integrates an ultrasonic flow meter with pulse output for instantaneous flow and total volume measurement, and operates at low pressures with reduced maintenance requirements.

Operating principle- Opening, closing and main flow regulation are driven by the water pressure available in the pipeline (no external energy required)
- Automatic control and regulation are performed via hydraulic control circuits acting on the main flow
- The valve modulates flow using an elastic, watertight diaphragm that adapts to the valve seat to ensure tightness
Design and durabilityThe diaphragm geometry and the high hydrodynamic profile of the cast iron body allow greater water passage and reduced pressure losses compared with other valve typologies. The diaphragm closure provides a free passage section that does not obstruct solids in the flow. Internal and external surfaces are protected by a special epoxy polyester coating against corrosion. Basic valve bodies can be equipped with multiple control options to meet irrigation system requirements.
