Excellence in constant evolution. Offered with 1166 to 1671 mm width max, the new Series 5 DF/DS/DV is directed decisively towards maximum productivity and efficiency in the tightest of spaces. With new, more powerful and cost-effective 4- or 5-speed modular transmissions, 4 wheelbase lengths from 2044 to 2216 mm and powerful hydraulic systems with countless variants, the new models offer greater scope for configuration, presenting themselves once again as the benchmark in terms of safety, comfort and productivity. COMPACT, EFFICIENT AND DEVELOPED SPECIFICALLY FOR FARMING. The new 3- and 4-cylinder FARMotion Stage V engines on the models in the 5DF/DS/DV series are even more powerful and fuel-efficient than ever. Setting these engines apart is a formidable package of decidedly innovative technical content, like the electronically managed Common Rail injection (up to 2000 bar) with 7-hole injectors, an electronically controlled viscostatic fan and the PowerCore combustion air intake filter. It all minimises consumption and boosts productivity. The extraordinary compactness of the suite of exhaust aftertreatment solutions used, with an externally, cooled and EGR circuit with electronic recirculated flow control, DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), passive DPF and SCR, has made it possible to maintain the same sloping, tapered cowl as the previous Stage III/B generation power unit, to ensure a generous steering angle and excellent forward visibility from the driver seat. In addition to the new technology implemented for compliance with Stage V emissions regulations, all engines now develop greater torque and power, as high as 116 HP on the top-of-the-range model.
