Product Samol — Soft soap. Corroborant / plant defence enhancer. Natural substance that improves plant resistance against biotic and abiotic stress. Allowed in organic agriculture.

Characteristics Samol is a corroborant based on a mixture of potassium salts of long-chain fatty acids obtained by saponification of natural vegetable oils. The product dissolves and removes honeydew and sooty mould produced by cochineals, aphids, whiteflies and psylloidea. Honeydew feeds harmful insects and promotes development of sooty moulds that reduce photosynthesis and damage plants. Samol also clogs insect airways and promotes dehydration under low humidity. Its natural composition and absence of hazardous substances make it safe for use on edible fruit up to the day of harvest. Samol also acts as an adhesive and surfactant, improving contact and the effectiveness of products mixed with it.
