The RA-915M analyzer combined with the RP-92 attachment is designed to determine mercury concentrations in liquid samples and digested solid samples down to ultra-low sub‑ppt levels. The set implements the conventional Cold Vapor (CV) technique with acid digestion and chemical reduction of ionic mercury to atomic Hg(0). RA-915M provides a wide working range using either the multipath or single-path cell and can also operate standalone for real-time ambient and indoor air monitoring. Additional attachments extend functionality.

Principle of operation
Cold Vapor technique followed by atomic absorption spectrometry at 254 nm with Zeeman background correction. This combination yields interference-free, highly selective and sensitive measurements without matrix effects.
