Overview
ZIEHL-ABEGG UNIcon control modules record system values and provide control outputs to drive power units such as frequency inverters and ECblue fans. Available in multifunctional and sensor-specific variants, UNIcon units support single or multi-fan applications and typical HVAC/refrigeration use cases with selectable pre-programmed operating modes.

Product specification:
UNIcon universal and sensor control modules accept inputs from ZIEHL-ABEGG sensors, compare measured actual values with setpoints and generate control commands. Depending on the version, outputs include 0–10 V analogue signals and MODBUS communication to actuate ECblue motors, fans and frequency inverters.

Properties & special features:
Integrated MODBUS master function enables automatic addressing of connected ECblue fans or frequency inverters. Modules provide sensor input evaluation, actual vs. nominal comparison and embedded control logic. Multifunction variants include additional inputs/outputs and selectable operating modes for common applications.
